The global sector scheme for Lean & Six Sigma
ISO 18404 was formed to bring clarity & standardisation to Training & Certification in these approaches to business improvement.
To date the lack of such a standard has resulted in the questionable value of Six Sigma & Lean Training. For Example, a “Black Belt” training can vary tremendously in content, duration, cost and quality of trainer. Some “accreditations” are given with automated online systems needing no real assessment from any experienced exponents.
Lean Construct Ltd are currently offering Lean and Six Sigma training that is guaranteed to meet the ISO Standard and are currently undergoing approval from the sector scheme owners the Royal Statistical Society for Training, Assessment and Certification.
